'''Pluto''' is a [[Dwarf Planet|dwarf planet]], the largest ''Plutino'' and a ''trans-Neptunian object'' in the outer [[solar system]]. Pluto used to be considered the ninth planet, but  on 24 August 2006 astronomers voted to reclassify it[http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/5282440.stm].

It has three natural satellites: [[Charon]] is the largest, and two smaller ones, [[Hydra]] and [[Nix]], have only recently been discovered.

Pluto is not included in the standard Orbiter distribution, but an addon can be downloaded from [[Orbithangar]].
