COM/NAV consists of four receivers and one transmitter. Each can be tuned to any frequency from 85 kHz to 140 MHz in increments of 0.05 MHz, allowing for 1101 channels. The XPDR transmitter frequency is manually selected by the user while receiver frequencies may be selected manually or each may scan for signals, stopping when a signal is detected.
