"Centro de Lançamento de Alcântara (CLA)" – Alcantara Launch Center

The CLA is Brazil’s spaceport. Located near the equator, it has excellent conditions for rocket launched. There are two pads.

The VLS pad with the associated Mobile Integration Tower ("TMI – torre móvel de integração") and rocket stand, used for the VLS and VLM rockets.
The universal pad complete with the launch tower is used for sounding rockets such as the VS-40.

There is also a military runway associated known as "Aerodromo de Alcantara".
