Global texture is a set of texture files that cover an entire celestial body. The surface resolution is expressed in "Levels".

- Mercury: Level 9
- Venus: Level 9
- Earth: Level 8 clouds, Level 11
- Moon: Level 11
- Mars: Level 11
- Jupiter: Level 8, Aurora
- Io: Level 8 with night textures
- Europa: Level 8
- Ganimedes: Level 8
- Callisto: Level 8
- Saturn: Level 7 with clouds
- Uranus: Level 8 with clouds
- Neptune: Level 8
- Triton: Level 8 with clouds
