This tutorial explains how to use SketchUp as a meshing tool and some other guidlines on how to texture it and export it into Orbiter.
You will need:
- SketchUp (For meshing and simple texturing)
- Wings3D (For importing .3ds and complex texturing)
- Wings3D .msh Exporter (To export to Orbiter's default .msh format)
- Babel3D Website (For converting from .skp to .3ds)
Notes: Babel3D requires an free account to convert meshes.
