Sinope (Jupiter IX) is a retrograde irregular satellite of Jupiter, discovered by Seth Barnes Nicholson at the Lick Observatory on 21 July 1914. Sinope was not named until 1975. Sinope in Orbiter[edit]Sinope was introduced to Orbiter with the release of jupiter-iii.zip in October 2002.
