Sao (Neptune XI, S/2002 N 2) the prograde irregular moons of Neptune. It was discovered by Matthew J Holman et al on 14 August 2002. It is named for one of the Nereids in Greek mythology.

Sao in Orbiter

Sao was released in the add-on uranus-neptune_ii.zip in March 2003.

In outerplanets-050125.zip, Sao was referred to as S2002-N2. In order to use it as Sao, the following changes must be made.

  • File:S2002_N2.cfg:
    • change the filename to Sao.cfg
    • change the name in the comment line in the top line to Sao (S/2002-N2, Neptune)
    • line 3, change NAME = to Sao
    • Last line, change the name of N2-Station = to Sao-station
  • File:N2-Station.cfg
    • change the filename to Sao-station.cfg
    • Line 3, change the name to Sao-Station
