1173 Anchises (1930 UA) is a large Jupiter Trojan asteroid of the Trojan camp (whose orbits lie in the L4 point 60° behind Jupiter. It was discovered by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl |State Observatory in October 1930 and was named after Achilles a Trojan prince in Greek mythology.
