Multistage.dll is an add-on framework for Orbiter 2010 or earlier, which allows a developer to create add-on launchers with multiple stages of many different degrees of complexity by using simple text-based configuration files which the module reads. It is a required component for many add-ons, and allows developers to quickly create add-on launchers with multiple stages for Orbiter without the need for a custom DLL.
Orbiter 2010 support[edit]
Multistage2.dll is not well supported for Orbiter 2010, and it triggers "missing mesh/no visuals" problem. BrianJ solved this problem with Stage.dll available in Orbithangar.[1] Later, he released a new add-on called Multistage2015 to supplant Multistage.dll for Orbiter 2010 and Orbiter 2016.
