Plesetsk Cosmodrome is a Russian spaceport, located in Arkhangelsk Oblast, about 800 km north of Moscow.

Used especially for military satellites placed into high inclination and polar orbits. The Soyuz rocket, Cosmos-3M, Rockot, and Tsyklon are launched from there.

Pads

  • SK-1 - original launch pad, retired
  • SK-2 - Used for Soyuz and Molniya-M rockets; Oko, Kobalt-M satellites
  • SK-3 - Served to launch Molniya rockets, unused after 2002
  • SK-4 - Rebuilt for the Soyuz-2 and Soyuz-1 rockets
