Spacecraft.dll allows a developer to create complicated add-on vessels through manipulation of simple text-based configuration files. It's a required component for many simpler add-ons.
Spacecraft3
The current version is Spacecraft3.dll. The module got renamed, because the input file format changed and is no longer compatible to spacecraft.dll. The latest version supports attachments, advanced aerodynamics and Orbitersound 3.5.
