:You are getting hit by the autoblock for the user "AntoniettaGoodel", which was a spam bot. Either, you are using the same proxy as some spam bot, or you have a compromised computer on your side of the gateway. I have only 577 autoblocks around, so even Verizon should be able to give you good IP adresses by random chance. --[[User:Urwumpe|Urwumpe]] ([[User talk:Urwumpe|talk]]) 10:21, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

::So, I have Windows defender running, I also ran CCleaner, AVG antivirus, Avast antivirus, and Malwarbytes, and all say I'm clean, so, doesnt' appear that I'm the source. After I tried an edit and was blocked, I tried an edit from my iPad, same block. Later, I tried an edit from my android phone (was never to the site before), using data (Tracfone, not Verizon, different ISP), I was also blocked. So, it seems the reason for the block is outside Verizon.

:A couple weeks ago, I was browsing and ran across the user list, and I found out that I had also registered in '16 and did not remember that; and apparently generated about 35 spam pages. Must have had some malware at that time. I did not knowingly or purposely generate them. I wonder if the filter is catching me in that regard, it recognizes that both users are me. Please consider deleting those spam pages and that user (are171887). I do apologize for those spam pages, I was not aware that my PC did that. Maybe that's what is generating my blocks this time. Feel free to stop by and leave a note here. If I do something stupid, don't be afraid to holler at me. Please do. ARE

Deleting user pages

I hope you don't mind that I did not just delete the old user page of "Over g" as requested, it felt a bit too unthankful considering his previous contributions to the wiki 15 years ago. Such things don't expire.--Urwumpe (talk) 20:55, 27 November 2020 (UTC) :: No problem at all. I was just cleaning up some double-redirects, that was the only one left. It was just pointing to itself and it was not listed in the User listing. Wasn't sure what else to do with it. ThanksArvil (talk) 01:59, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

Autoblocked

Urwumpe or anyone who happens here, I tried to add this to his talk page and was locked out. See the following. If this bug ever lets me back in, I'll copy/paste to his page.

Update, this thing finally let me in. still keep getting locked out. This time I'm in so opened up a new tab and did some editing, then locked out again here's a copy/paste of it.

You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:

Your IP address has been automatically blocked because it was used by another user, who was blocked by ‪Urwumpe‬. The reason given is:

Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "RichSherrill141".

The reason given for RichSherrill141's block is "Repeat spammer"

   Start of block: 14:44, 7 December 2020
   Expiration of block: 14:44, 27 December 2020
   Intended blockee: 162.158.62.78

You may contact ‪Urwumpe‬ or one of the other administrators to discuss the block.

Note that you may not use the "Email this user" feature unless you have a valid email address registered in your user preferences and you have not been blocked from using it.

Your current IP address is 162.158.62.78, and the block ID is #37234. Please include all above details in any queries you make.

Each time I get locked it's a different banned user, IP, and ticket number. My IP is *CENSORED* if that helps. I'm Verizon FIOS and a Verizon support page said that it's dynamic, but, rarely changes, usually on power loss, etc. So, anyway, the bug is still there. Hoping you can figure it out when you get a chance. Thanks for listening.Arvil (talk) 03:32, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

This is the first I've logged in for many days, I have not been spamming at all, ever, yet I'm still banned, now it's up to 11 January, ticket number 38785. Sure would like to know what gives. I've even changed my IP address, still can't get in here.Arvil (talk) 04:27, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
