OGLAClient is an OpenGL Orbiter Visualization Project Graphic client
Status
Mostly stalled due to GDI issues, with only minor updates and bringing in default Orbiter renderer features
Currently working on:
- Solution to GDI issues.
- Real rings rendering
- Animation support
- Cleaning up shadows and reflections
- Memory and LOD fine-tuning
Currently thinking on:
- Solution to GDI issues.
- Shaders and their usage limits
- Getting the rings real-looking
- Panels and dynamic textures
- Multilight config framework
- More natural reflections
What is done:
- Quite a lot
- Navigable universe
- Vessel mesh rendering sans animations
- Planet rendering Lv 0-11
- Surface base rendering and culling
- Planetary meshes, mostly complete
- Basic rings
- Beyound Orbiter - stars
