- It never was Shift it was always + or - on the numerical keyboard. Pressing + first, holding it and then Ctrl locks the throttle at 100%, pressing Ctrl first, holding it and + later, permits slowly increasing thrust. Please read the Orbiter manual (Orbiter.pdf) in the docs folder, if in doubt, it has the complete key reference.
