Sinope (Jupiter IX) is a retrograde irregular satellite of Jupiter, discovered by Seth Barnes Nicholson at the Lick Observatory on 21 July 1914. Sinope was not named until 1975. Sinope in OrbiterSinope was introduced to Orbiter with the release of jupiter-iii.zip in October 2002.
