Euporie (Jupiter XXXIV, S/2001 J 10) is a retrograde satellite of Jupiter. It was discovered by Scott Sheppard at the Mauna Kea Observatories in Hawaii. It is named for a Greek goddess.
Euporie in Orbiter[edit]
Euporie was first introduced into Orbiter with the add-on jupiter_v.zip in August 2003. Note that Euporie is provided by the add-on as S/2001-J10. To simulate it as Euporie, the following changes need to be made.
- File:S2001_J10.cfg:
- change the filename to Euporie.cfg
- change the name in the comment line in the top line to Euporie (S/2001-J10, Jupiter)
- line 3, change NAME = to Euporie
- Last line, change the name of Base1 = to Euporie
- File:J10-Station.cfg
- change the filename to Euporie-station.cfg
- Line 3, change the name to Euporie-Station
- File:Jupiter-S2001J10.scn
- change the filename to Jupiter-Euporie.scn
- Line 2, change J10 Station to Euporie Station
- Find the GL-01 ship, change STATUS Landed S2001-J10 to Landed Euporie
- Change BASE J10-Station:1 to Euporie-Station:1
- File:S2001-J10.tex, change filename to Euporie.tex
- File:S2001-J10M.BMP, change filename to EuporieM.BMP
