OGLAClient is an OpenGL Orbiter Visualization Project Graphic client
Status
Periodically developed. Been declared playable by some users and good enough for a sudden Orbiter release, if you have Nvidia GPU.
Latest development version is 090322, available at OF.
Currently working on:
- Solving ATI red devil bug
- Better atmosphere
- Cleaning up shadows and reflections
- Real rings rendering
- Multilight improvements
Currently thinking on:
- Better terrain
- Memory and LOD fine-tuning
- Getting the rings real-looking
- Dynamic textures
- Multilight config framework
- More natural reflections

- Vessel mesh rendering sans animations
- Planet rendering Lv 0-14
- Surface base rendering and culling
- Planetary meshes, mostly complete
- Terrain and atmospheric shade
- Basic rings
- Beyound Orbiter - stars
- Panels, glass cockpit
- Vessel animations
Known bugs/issues (090322)
- ATI GPU's red devil bug
- Either slow or imprecise shadows
- Few MFD's supported
- Fonts look bad
