Space: 1999 is a British science-fiction television series from 1970s. Several add-ons for Orbiter recreate the moonbase setting of the series and associated spacecraft. Although the series didn't feature realistic physics, the ships are still enjoyable to operate in Orbiter's realistic simulation environment.
On the series universe, a unified Earth space program is supervised by the World Space Commission which is funded by the International Lunar Finance Committee. One of the main economical justification for the lunar bases is atomic waste disposal. It has been done on the Moon since the 1980s.
The series features several vehicles, some simulated on Orbiter.
