Laomedeia (Neptune XII, S/2002 N 3) the prograde irregular moons of Neptune. It was discovered by Matthew J Holman et al on 13 August 2002. It is named for one of the Nereids in Greek mythology.

Laomedeia in Orbiter

Laomedeia was released in the add-on uranus-neptune_ii.zip in March 2003.

In outerplanets-050125.zip, Laomedeia was referred to as S2002-N3. In order to use it as Laomedeia, the following changes must be made.

  • File:S2002_N3.cfg:
    • change the filename to Laomedeia.cfg
    • change the name in the comment line in the top line to Laomedeia (S/2002-N3, Neptune)
    • line 3, change NAME = to Laomedeia
    • Last line, change the name of N3-Station = to Laomedeia-station
  • File:J2-Station.cfg
    • change the filename to Laomedeia-station.cfg
    • Line 3, change the name to Laomedeia-Station
  • File:Neptune_S2002N3.scn
    • change the filename to Neptune_Laomedeia.scn
    • Line 2, change S2002-N3 Station to Laomedeia Station
    • Find the GL-01 ship, change STATUS Landed S2002-N3 to Landed Laomedeia
    • Change BASE N3-Station:1 to Laomedeia-Station:1
  • File:S2002-N1.tex, change filename to Laomedeia.tex
  • File:S2003-N1M.BMP, change filename to LaomedeiaM.BMP
