1173 Anchises (1906 TG) is a large Jupiter Trojan asteroid of the Greek camp (whose orbits lie in the L4 point 60° ahead of Jupiter. It was discovered by Max Wolf at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory in February 1906 and was named after Achilles a hero in Homer's Iliad.
