Komarov(2001)
The Komarov is the Soviet spacecraft from the World of 2001. It serves as a inne system passenger ship. It contains two deployable hab sections. Habs swing out on the end of tunnels so that the entire hab gets the benefit of centrifugal gravity, provided by rotation of the whole craft. The pivot point is as far forward as possible to provide distance from the reactor. Komarovs are comfortable rides, except that “down” is towards the aft wall when under thrust. The crew's twice-daily transfer from the hab to the crew section and back has earned it the nickname of the “hamster hab”.
