Komarov(2001)
The Komarov is a soviet spacecraft from the World of 2001. It serves as a inner system passenger ship.
It contains two deployable habitat sections. Habitat modules swing out on the end of tunnels so that the entire habitat gets the benefit of centrifugal gravity, provided by rotation of the whole craft. The pivot point is as far forward as possible to provide distance from the reactor. Komarovs are comfortable rides, except that “down” is towards the aft wall when under thrust. The crew's twice-daily transfer from the habitat to the crew section and back has earned it the nickname of the "hamster hab".
