Albiorix (Saturn XXVI, S/2000 S 11) is one of the outer prograde irregular moons of Saturn. It was discovered by Michael J Holman et al in 2000. It is named for a gallic giant.

Albiorix in Orbiter[edit]

Albiorix was first introduced into Orbiter with the add-on saturn_iv.zip in February 2003. Note that Albiorix is provided by the add-on as S/2000-S11. To simulate it as Albiorix, the following changes need to be made.

  • File:S2000_S11.cfg:
    • change the filename to Albiorix.cfg
    • change the name in the comment line in the top line to Albiorix (S/2000-S11, Saturn)
    • line 3, change NAME = to Albiorix
    • Last line, change the name of Base1 = to Albiorix
  • File:S11-Station.cfg
    • change the filename to Albiorix-station.cfg
    • Line 3, change the name to Albiorix-Station
  • File:Saturn_S2000S11.scn
    • change the filename to Saturn_Albiorix.scn
    • Line 2, change S12 Station to Albiorix Station
    • Find the GL-01 ship, change STATUS Landed S2000-S11 to Landed Albiorix
    • Change BASE S11-Station:1 to Albiorix-Station:1
  • File:S2000-S11.tex, change filename to Albiorix.tex
  • File:S2000-S11M.BMP, change filename to AlbiorixM.BMP
