Mundilfari (Saturn XXV, S/2000 S 9) is one of the outer prograde irregular moons of Saturn. It was discovered by Brett J Gladman et al in 2000. It is named for the father of Sól in Celtic mythology.
Mundilfari in Orbiter[edit]
Mundilfari was first introduced into Orbiter with the add-on saturn_iv.zip in February 2003. Note that Mundilfari is provided by the add-on as S/2000-S9. To simulate it as Mundilfari, the following changes need to be made.
- File:S2000_S9.cfg:
- change the filename to Mundilfari.cfg
- change the name in the comment line in the top line to Mundilfari (S/2000-S9, Saturn)
- line 3, change NAME = to Mundilfari
- Last line, change the name of Base1 = to Mundilfari
- File:S9-Station.cfg
- change the filename to Mundilfari-station.cfg
- Line 3, change the name to Mundilfari-Station
- File:Saturn_S2000S9.scn
- change the filename to Saturn_Mundilfari.scn
- Line 2, change S9 Station to Mundilfari Station
- Find the GL-01 ship, change STATUS Landed S2000-S9 to Landed Mundilfari-S9
- Change BASE S9-Station:1 to Mundilfari-Station:1
- File:S2000-S9.tex, change filename to Mundilfari.tex
- File:S2000-S9M.BMP, change filename to MundilfariM.BMP
