Kiviuq (Saturn XXIV, S/2000 S 5) is one of the outer prograde irregular moons of Saturn. It was discovered by John J Kavelaars et al on November 2000. It is named after a hero of Intuit religion.
Kiviuq in Orbiter[edit]
Kiviuq was first introduced into Orbiter with the add-on saturn_iv.zip in February 2003. Note that Kiviuq is provided by the add-on as S/2000-S5. To simulate it as Kiviuq, the following changes need to be made.
- File:S2000_S5.cfg:
- change the filename to Kiviuq.cfg
- change the name in the comment line in the top line to Kiviuq (S/2000-S5, Saturn)
- line 3, change NAME = to Kiviuq
- Last line, change the name of Base1 = to Kiviuq
- File:S5-Station.cfg
- change the filename to Kiviuq-station.cfg
- Line 3, change the name to Kiviuq-Station
- File:Saturn_S2000S5.scn
- change the filename to Saturn_Kiviuq.scn
- Line 2, change S5 Station to Kiviuq Station
- Find the GL-01 ship, change STATUS Landed S2000-S5 to Landed Kiviuq-S5
- Change BASE S5-Station:1 to Kiviuq-Station:1
- File:S2000-S5.tex, change filename to Kiviuq.tex
- File:S2000-S5M.BMP, change filename to KiviuqM.BMP
