Siarnaq (Saturn XXIX, S/2000 S 3) is one of the outer prograde irregular moons of Saturn. It was discovered by Brett J Gladman et al in 2000. It is named for the godess of the sea in Intuit mythology.

Siarnaq in Orbiter[edit]

Siarnaq was first introduced into Orbiter with the add-on saturn_iv.zip in February 2003. Note that Siarnaq is provided by the add-on as S/2000-S3. To simulate it as Siarnaq, the following changes need to be made.

  • File:S2000_S3.cfg:
    • change the filename to Siarnaq.cfg
    • change the name in the comment line in the top line to Siarnaq (S/2000-S3, Saturn)
    • line 3, change NAME = to Siarnaq
    • Last line, change the name of Base1 = to Siarnaq
  • File:S3-Station.cfg
    • change the filename to Siarnaq-station.cfg
    • Line 3, change the name to Siarnaq-Station
  • File:Saturn_S2000S3.scn
    • change the filename to Saturn_Siarnaq.scn
    • Line 2, change S3 Station to Siarnaq Station
    • Find the GL-01 ship, change STATUS Landed S2000-S3 to Landed Siarnaq
    • Change BASE S3-Station:1 to Siarnaq-Station:1
  • File:S2000-S9.tex, change filename to Siarnaq.tex
  • File:S2000-S9M.BMP, change filename to SiarnaqM.BMP
