COMNAV MFD is an MFD mode which allows control of the ship's navigation receivers which provides data to various other MFD modes and navigation instruments. With COMNAV, the pilot may select the frequency for each receiver. The text for the active receiver is yellow. The receiver can detect transponder signals from other vessels, bases, landing pads, the ILS transponders for runways, and VOR transmitters. Select COMNAV MFD mode by selecting it in the desired MFD mode selection page.
