Erriapus (Saturn XXVIII, S/2000 S 10) is one of the outer prograde irregular moons of Saturn. It was discovered by John J Kavelaars et al in 2000. It is named after a giant in Celtic religion.

Erriapus in Orbiter[edit]

Erriapus was first introduced into Orbiter with the add-on saturn_iv.zip in February 2003. Note that Erriapus is provided by the add-on as S/2000-S10. To simulate it as Erriapus, the following changes need to be made.

  • File:S2000_S10.cfg:
    • change the filename to Erriapus.cfg
    • change the name in the comment line in the top line to Erriapus (S/2000-S10, Saturn)
    • line 3, change NAME = to Erriapus
    • Last line, change the name of Base1 = to Erriapus
  • File:S10-Station.cfg
    • change the filename to Erriapus-station.cfg
    • Line 3, change the name to Erriapus-Station
  • File:Saturn_S2000S10.scn
    • change the filename to Saturn_Erriapus.scn
    • Line 2, change S5 Station to Erriapus Station
    • Find the GL-01 ship, change STATUS Landed S2000-S10 to Landed Erriapus-S10
    • Change BASE S5-Station:1 to Erriapus-Station:1
  • File:S2000-S10.tex, change filename to Erriapus.tex
  • File:S2000-S10M.BMP, change filename to ErriapusM.BMP

In the add-on outerplanets-050125.zip the files for Erriapus are named as Erriapo. That should be changed accordingly.
